Out of the Blue

We were finishing supper last night when an excited flock of sparrows "went to ground" in our yard. They were immediately followed by this guy who sat on our railing for a good 15 minutes. The picture is a bit grainy as I took it through the screen door. We figure he/she is a juvenile Cooper's hawk or a Goshawk.
