News From Golden

I send a lot of things out west to my sister's B&B on spec.
Some things fly out of her gallery and others sit, some up to several years. But as I say to a dear friend who does some spectacular work and sells locally, there is something for everyone.

I just got off the phone with Golden BC, where we haggled gently with a family from China, who are now the proud owners of a quilt. The appeal may have been the fabrics which were all oriental in feel, or the colour Blue...or maybe it was just I did a beautiful job.

It's always nice to have happy clients! I seldom get to see their reactions to my work.
And as usual, thanks to my sister, their host!
