Remember this guy?

This one was a raw applique done in suede and mounted on the last piece of thread stitched backing.

I reduced his size a bit and thread painted him this afternoon. It took 1.5 hours. Pretty slick.

( I spent most of the afternoon dismantling the little dyeing station I had in the garage. We had frost and flurries last night. Time to get the car back inside.)
